Our season begins on May 1st and ends on October 31st. During the season, we are open Thursday-Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

The grounds are open all day, every day, regardless of our operating hours. There are plenty of beautiful places to sit and gardens to admire.

The Shelton House is accessible via the front door. Unfortunately, the second floor of the museum is not wheelchair accessible. The main floor of the Barn is accessible via a grass lawn on the side of the barn.

The gardens on our property are entirely maintained by volunteers! We work closely with the Waynesville Garden Club and Mountain View Garden Club to keep the grounds beautiful.
